Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital
The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital provides comprehensive care to
infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. Care is provided using a multidisciplinary team approach with
patient and family being at the center of the healthcare team. This special team extends beyond the hematology/oncology
staff to include the expertise of many other pediatric specialists at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. A
cohesive network forms to meet the complex needs of children and families affected by cancer or hematologic disorders.
The clinical and research activities of the Division of Hematology/Oncology are supported by the Four Diamonds Fund.
The Four Diamonds Pediatric Cancer Research Institute at Penn State College of Medicine was established in 1999 through
the Four Diamonds Endowment. It is currently supported by greater than thirty million dollars in endowments, including
the the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon Chair, the Christopher Millard Endowed Chair in Pediatric Oncology,
the Experimental Therapeutics Program, and the Molecular Oncology Program.
